Role Summary

The Engineering Manager will lead all engineering activities across major water infrastructure projects in Saudi Arabia. The role requires extensive experience serving as a Principal Engineer in similar large-scale water projects, with full responsibility for technical leadership, design coordination, and engineering execution.

This is a senior leadership position overseeing multidisciplinary engineering teams and ensuring technical excellence throughout the project lifecycle.


Key Responsibilities

Engineering Leadership

  • Lead and manage all engineering disciplines across project locations.
  • Provide strategic technical direction for water, STP, pipeline, and tank projects.
  • Supervise design reviews, engineering deliverables, and technical approvals.
  • Ensure engineering outputs align with contractual and regulatory requirements.

Technical Oversight

  • Review and approve engineering drawings, calculations, and specifications.
  • Coordinate with consultants and design teams to resolve technical issues.
  • Ensure compliance with international standards and Saudi regulations.
  • Provide technical guidance to site teams and project managers.

Project Coordination

  • Support project planning, scheduling, and technical risk assessments.
  • Participate in progress meetings and executive reporting.
  • Ensure alignment between design, procurement, and construction activities.
  • Monitor engineering performance against project milestones.

Risk & Quality Management

  • Identify technical risks and implement mitigation plans.
  • Ensure quality control procedures are enforced across all engineering functions.
  • Support value engineering initiatives and cost optimization strategies.

Minimum Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Minimum 15 years of experience with Bachelor’s Degree

Experience Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Principal Engineer in similar water infrastructure projects.
  • Strong background in:
    • Water Projects
    • STP projects
    • Pipeline systems
    • Water tank construction
  • Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams.
  • Experience coordinating between design and construction phases.

Certification

  • Professional engineering certifications are advantageous (if available).

Language Requirements

  • English: Fluent (Mandatory)
  • Arabic: Fluent (Mandatory)

Working Conditions

  • On-site leadership role across Riyadh – Dammam – Jeddah – Mecca
  • Full-time commitment for the entire Four (4) Year project duration
  • Travel between project locations as required
