Role Summary

The Construction Manager will lead and manage on-site construction activities for large-scale water infrastructure projects across Saudi Arabia. The role requires extensive GCC experience and strong knowledge of FIDIC contract conditions and design coordination within complex infrastructure environments.

This is a senior site leadership role responsible for execution, compliance, safety, scheduling, and coordination across multiple project locations.


Key Responsibilities

Construction Leadership

  • Lead full construction execution of water, STP, pipeline, and tank projects.
  • Manage site teams, subcontractors, and construction supervisors.
  • Ensure works are delivered according to approved drawings and specifications.
  • Oversee daily construction operations and site logistics.

Contract & FIDIC Compliance

  • Administer construction activities in accordance with FIDIC contractual frameworks.
  • Interpret contract clauses and ensure proper implementation on site.
  • Coordinate closely with the Contract Administrator and Project Manager on contractual matters.
  • Monitor variations, claims, and compliance with contractual milestones.

Project Planning & Control

  • Review and monitor project schedules and work programs.
  • Ensure alignment between procurement, engineering, and site execution.
  • Identify construction risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure timely completion within approved budgets.

Quality, Safety & Regulatory Compliance

  • Enforce quality assurance and quality control procedures.
  • Ensure adherence to GCC construction standards and Saudi regulations.
  • Oversee HSE implementation across all project sites.
  • Conduct site inspections and progress reviews.

Minimum Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Minimum 15 years of experience with Bachelor’s Degree

Experience Requirements

  • Proven experience in the GCC region.
  • Strong knowledge of FIDIC designs and contractual requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience managing:
    • Water Projects
    • STP projects
    • Pipeline construction
    • Water tank projects
  • Extensive background in large-scale infrastructure construction management.

Certification

  • Professional construction or project management certifications are advantageous (if available).

Language Requirements

  • English: Fluent (Mandatory)
  • Arabic: Fluent (Mandatory)

Working Conditions

  • On-site role across Riyadh – Dammam – Jeddah – Mecca
  • Full-time engagement for the entire Four (4) Year project duration
  • Travel between project locations as required
