Role Summary
The Hydraulic Modeller will support hydraulic analysis and modelling activities for major water infrastructure projects across Saudi Arabia. The role requires familiarity with water technical standards in KSA and proven experience in similar water-related projects.
This is a technical position responsible for developing hydraulic models, supporting engineering design, and ensuring system efficiency and compliance with project specifications.
Key Responsibilities
Hydraulic Modelling & Analysis
- Develop and maintain hydraulic models for water transmission and distribution systems.
- Perform flow, pressure, and capacity simulations.
- Analyze system performance under different operational scenarios.
- Support design optimization for pipelines, pumping stations, and storage tanks.
Technical Compliance
- Ensure adherence to water technical standards in KSA.
- Validate modelling outputs against project design criteria.
- Support engineering teams with data-driven technical recommendations.
- Assist in resolving hydraulic design challenges.
Project Coordination
- Coordinate with civil, mechanical, and electrical engineering teams.
- Participate in technical meetings and progress reviews.
- Support design validation and review processes.
- Assist in commissioning preparation through hydraulic verification.
Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare hydraulic modelling reports and system analysis documentation.
- Maintain organized records of modelling data and assumptions.
- Update models based on design revisions and site conditions.
Minimum Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
- Minimum 10 years of experience with Bachelor’s Degree
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in similar water infrastructure projects.
- Demonstrated familiarity with water technical standards in KSA.
- Experience in:
- Water transmission systems
- Distribution networks
- STP hydraulic systems
- Pumping stations and water tanks
Certification
- Professional engineering or hydraulic modelling certifications are advantageous (if available).
Language Requirements
- English: Fluent (Mandatory)
- Arabic: Fluent (Mandatory)
Working Conditions
- On-site role across Riyadh – Dammam – Jeddah – Mecca
- Full-time engagement for the entire Four (4) Year project duration
- Travel between project locations as required
