Role Summary
The Civil Site Inspector will be responsible for inspecting and supervising civil works across construction and infrastructure projects from a civil engineering perspective. The role requires solid experience in implementation and supervision within infrastructure environments, particularly in water-related projects.
This is a site-based technical role ensuring civil works are executed in compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Civil Inspection & Supervision
- Inspect civil works including concrete structures, foundations, pipelines, and tanks.
- Verify construction compliance with approved civil drawings and specifications.
- Monitor contractor performance during site implementation activities.
- Witness testing and inspection of civil elements.
Construction Oversight
- Supervise infrastructure works from a civil point of view.
- Ensure proper coordination between civil, mechanical, and electrical works.
- Review contractor method statements related to civil activities.
- Identify deviations and report non-conformities.
Quality & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to project quality standards and inspection procedures.
- Verify material approvals and site practices.
- Maintain inspection records and site documentation.
- Support QA/QC team in resolving quality issues.
Reporting & Coordination
- Prepare daily and weekly inspection reports.
- Coordinate with Civil Engineers and Construction Managers.
- Participate in site meetings and progress reviews.
- Support final inspections and project handover activities.
Minimum Qualifications
Education
- Post-Secondary Diploma in Civil Engineering or Related Field
- Minimum 7 years of professional experience
Experience Requirements
- Proven experience in construction and infrastructure implementation and supervision from a civil perspective.
- Experience in:
- Water Projects
- STP facilities
- Pipeline construction
- Water tank and structural works
- Strong knowledge of civil inspection standards and site supervision practices.
Certification
- Civil inspection certifications are advantageous (if available).
Language Requirements
- English: Fluent (Mandatory)
- Arabic: Fluent (Mandatory)
Working Conditions
- On-site role across Riyadh – Dammam – Jeddah – Mecca
- Full-time engagement for the entire Four (4) Year project duration
- Travel between project locations as required
