Role Summary
The Civil Engineer will support the supervision and execution of civil works across large-scale water infrastructure projects in Saudi Arabia. The role requires familiarity with water technical standards in KSA and proven experience in similar water-related projects.
This is a site-based engineering position responsible for ensuring quality execution, technical compliance, and coordination with project teams.
Key Responsibilities
Civil Works Execution
- Supervise daily civil construction activities on water projects.
- Ensure works comply with approved drawings and specifications.
- Monitor contractor performance and site productivity.
- Review shop drawings and material submittals.
Technical Compliance
- Ensure adherence to water technical standards in KSA.
- Conduct site inspections and verify quality of works.
- Identify non-conformities and coordinate corrective actions.
- Assist in resolving technical site issues.
Project Coordination
- Coordinate with Senior Engineers and Construction Managers.
- Participate in progress meetings and reporting activities.
- Support QA/QC and HSE compliance efforts.
- Assist in commissioning and handover activities.
Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare daily and weekly site reports.
- Maintain records of inspections and site activities.
- Support documentation for project milestones.
Minimum Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
- Minimum 10 years of experience with Bachelor’s Degree
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in similar water infrastructure projects.
- Demonstrated familiarity with water technical standards in KSA.
- Experience in:
- Water Projects
- STP projects
- Pipeline works
- Water tank construction
Certification
- Professional engineering certifications are advantageous (if available).
Language Requirements
- English: Fluent (Mandatory)
- Arabic: Fluent (Mandatory)
Working Conditions
- On-site role across Riyadh – Dammam – Jeddah – Mecca
- Full-time engagement for the entire Four (4) Year project duration
- Travel between project locations as required
