Role Summary

The Contract Administrator will oversee all contractual and legal aspects of large-scale water infrastructure projects across Saudi Arabia. The role requires a strong legal background, proven experience in KSA construction contracts, and prior exposure to water-related projects.

This position ensures contractual compliance, risk mitigation, claim management, and protection of the company’s commercial interests throughout the full project lifecycle.


Key Responsibilities

Contract Administration & Compliance

  • Draft, review, and administer construction and engineering contracts.
  • Ensure compliance with Saudi regulations and contractual obligations.
  • Interpret contract terms and advise project teams accordingly.
  • Monitor contract performance and compliance with agreed deliverables.

Claims & Variations Management

  • Manage variation orders and contract amendments.
  • Evaluate and process contractor claims.
  • Prepare contractual correspondence and formal notices.
  • Support negotiation and dispute resolution processes.

Commercial & Risk Management

  • Identify contractual risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure protection of company interests in all contractual matters.
  • Coordinate with legal advisors when required.
  • Maintain organized contract documentation and records.

Project Coordination

  • Work closely with Project Managers and Resident Engineers.
  • Participate in progress meetings and contractual reviews.
  • Provide contractual advice throughout all project phases.

Minimum Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with minimum 15 years of experience, OR
  • Master’s Degree in Engineering with minimum 10 years of experience

Experience Requirements

  • Strong legal background in construction or engineering contracts.
  • Proven professional experience within Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).
  • Demonstrated experience in water infrastructure projects.
  • Experience in:
    • Contract drafting and administration
    • Claims management
    • Variation and dispute handling
    • Commercial risk assessment

Certification

  • Professional certifications in contract management or commercial management are advantageous (if available).

Language Requirements

  • English: Fluent (Mandatory)
  • Arabic: Fluent (Mandatory)

Working Conditions

  • On-site role across Riyadh – Dammam – Jeddah – Mecca
  • Full-time engagement for the entire Four (4) Year project duration
  • Travel between project locations as required
