Role Summary

The Electrical Site Inspector will be responsible for inspecting and supervising electrical works across construction and infrastructure projects from an electrical engineering perspective. The role requires hands-on experience in implementation and supervision within infrastructure environments, particularly in water-related projects.

This is a site-based technical role ensuring electrical installations are executed in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, and safety standards.


Key Responsibilities

Electrical Inspection & Supervision

  • Inspect electrical installations including power distribution, panels, cabling, and lighting systems.
  • Verify compliance with approved electrical drawings and specifications.
  • Monitor contractor performance during site implementation activities.
  • Witness testing and inspection of electrical systems.

Construction Oversight

  • Supervise infrastructure works from an electrical point of view.
  • Ensure coordination between civil, mechanical, and ICA systems.
  • Review contractor method statements related to electrical works.
  • Identify deviations and report non-conformities.

Quality & Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to project quality standards and inspection procedures.
  • Verify material approvals and installation practices.
  • Maintain inspection logs and site documentation.
  • Support QA/QC team in resolving quality-related issues.

Safety & Reporting

  • Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and regulations.
  • Coordinate with HSE team to enforce safe work practices.
  • Prepare daily and weekly inspection reports.
  • Participate in site meetings and progress reviews.

Minimum Qualifications

Education

  • Post-Secondary Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Related Field
  • Minimum 7 years of professional experience

Experience Requirements

  • Proven experience in construction and infrastructure implementation and supervision from an electrical perspective.
  • Experience in:
    • Water Projects
    • STP facilities
    • Pumping stations
    • Electrical systems for pipelines and water tank projects
  • Strong knowledge of electrical inspection standards and site supervision practices.

Certification

  • Electrical inspection or safety certifications are advantageous (if available).

Language Requirements

  • English: Fluent (Mandatory)
  • Arabic: Fluent (Mandatory)

Working Conditions

  • On-site role across Riyadh – Dammam – Jeddah – Mecca
  • Full-time engagement for the entire Four (4) Year project duration
  • Travel between project locations as required
