We are an independent, community-focused coffee shop located in the North Vancouver area. Our mission is to provide every customer with an exceptional experience — from the aroma of freshly ground beans to the warmth of genuine human connection. We work with locally roasted coffee and high-quality ingredients, and our team takes pride in craftsmanship, creativity, and customer service.
Whether it’s the morning rush or a calm afternoon, our café is a space where people gather, recharge, and feel at home. We’re now looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Barista who shares our passion for great coffee and great people.
Your Role
As a Barista, you’ll be the face of our café — crafting beverages, engaging with guests, and maintaining a clean, organized, and positive workspace. You’ll work closely with other team members to ensure smooth daily operations and uphold our commitment to quality.
🔹 Responsibilities:
- Greet customers warmly and build friendly rapport with regulars and new visitors
- Prepare and serve a variety of espresso-based and brewed coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and care
- Follow café recipes and presentation standards for consistency and quality
- Maintain cleanliness of espresso machines, grinders, and the entire service area throughout the shift
- Handle cash, POS transactions, and mobile app payments accurately
- Assist with inventory management, restocking supplies, and ordering as needed
- Support team members during busy hours with flexibility and cooperation
- Follow all health and safety regulations in food and beverage handling
- Contribute to maintaining a positive and inclusive team atmosphere
🔹 Requirements:
- Previous barista or café experience preferred, but not required — we provide training
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Positive attitude, punctuality, and a strong sense of teamwork
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
- Basic math and cash-handling ability
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 lbs (milk crates, supplies, etc.)
- Legal eligibility to work in Canada
