Role Summary

The Senior Hydraulic Modeller will lead hydraulic modelling activities for major water infrastructure projects across Saudi Arabia. The role requires strong familiarity with water technical standards in KSA, combined with proven global experience in hydraulic modelling for water networks, pumping systems, and treatment facilities.

This is a senior-level technical position responsible for advanced modelling, system optimization, and supporting engineering and construction teams with data-driven hydraulic analysis.


Key Responsibilities

Hydraulic Modelling & Analysis

  • Develop and manage hydraulic models for water transmission and distribution systems.
  • Perform system simulations for pipelines, pumping stations, and storage tanks.
  • Analyze pressure, flow rates, and system performance under various scenarios.
  • Optimize network design and operational strategies.

Technical Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to water technical standards in KSA.
  • Apply global best practices in hydraulic modelling and system analysis.
  • Validate modelling results against project specifications and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide technical recommendations for design improvements.

Project Support & Coordination

  • Coordinate with civil, mechanical, and electrical engineering teams.
  • Support design review and technical approval processes.
  • Participate in technical meetings and provide modelling presentations.
  • Assist in commissioning and operational readiness planning.

Reporting & Documentation

  • Prepare detailed hydraulic analysis reports.
  • Document modelling assumptions, methodologies, and validation results.
  • Maintain organized records of modelling data and revisions.

Minimum Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with minimum 10 years of experience, OR
  • Master’s Degree in Engineering with minimum 7 years of experience

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in similar water infrastructure projects.
  • Demonstrated familiarity with water technical standards in KSA.
  • Proven global experience in hydraulic modelling for water projects.
  • Experience in:
    • Water transmission and distribution networks
    • STP hydraulic systems
    • Pumping stations
    • Reservoir and tank systems

Certification

  • Professional engineering or hydraulic modelling certifications are advantageous (if available).

Language Requirements

  • English: Fluent (Mandatory)
  • Arabic: Familiar (Preferred)

Working Conditions

  • On-site role across Riyadh – Dammam – Jeddah – Mecca
  • Full-time engagement for the entire Four (4) Year project duration
  • Travel between project locations as required
