Role Summary

The Surveyor will be responsible for conducting surveying and topographical activities across major construction and infrastructure projects, particularly water-related projects. The role requires strong experience in implementation and supervision from a topographical (Topo) perspective.

This is a site-based technical position ensuring accurate setting-out, measurement verification, and alignment of infrastructure works.


Key Responsibilities

Surveying & Setting-Out

  • Conduct topographical and land surveys for water infrastructure projects.
  • Perform setting-out for pipelines, tanks, structures, and related civil works.
  • Verify alignment, levels, and coordinates in accordance with approved drawings.
  • Ensure accurate positioning of construction elements.

Construction Support

  • Support implementation and supervision activities from a topo perspective.
  • Coordinate with civil engineers and site inspectors.
  • Monitor contractor survey activities and verify accuracy.
  • Provide survey data for progress tracking and measurement verification.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain survey records, field notes, and measurement logs.
  • Prepare survey reports and as-built drawings.
  • Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of survey equipment.
  • Assist in final handover documentation.

Quality & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with project specifications and survey standards.
  • Identify discrepancies and report deviations promptly.
  • Support QA/QC verification processes.

Minimum Qualifications

Education

  • Post-Secondary Diploma in Surveying
  • Minimum 7 years of professional experience

Experience Requirements

  • Proven experience in construction and infrastructure implementation and supervision from a topographical perspective.
  • Experience in:
    • Water Projects
    • Pipeline alignment works
    • STP site layouts
    • Water tank positioning and leveling
  • Strong knowledge of survey equipment and tools (Total Station, GPS, leveling instruments).

Certification

  • Professional surveying certifications are advantageous (if available).

Language Requirements

  • English: Not Defined (Fluency Preferred)
  • Arabic: Not Defined (Fluency Preferred)

Working Conditions

  • On-site role across Riyadh – Dammam – Jeddah – Mecca
  • Full-time engagement for the entire Four (4) Year project duration
  • Travel between project locations as required
