The Complete Hiring Process on CPJ

On the CPJ (Canada Prime Jobs) platform, the Hiring section is where employers can find and hire suitable candidates from among registered job seekers. Through this system, employers can send invitations, arrange interviews, and complete the entire hiring process in one place.

Below is a full explanation of how the process works, step by step.

Step 1: The Employer Logs In

The employer logs in to their account on cpj.ai and goes to the “Hiring” or “Candidates” section. In this area, the employer can:

  • View job seekers’ profiles.
  • Review resumes, skills, and uploaded documents.
  • Check completed training courses and assessment results.

Step 2: Sending an Invitation

When the employer finds a suitable candidate, they click on “Invite to Interview” or “Send Hiring Invitation.”
A formal invitation is automatically sent to the job seeker through the CPJ system and also by email.

The invitation usually includes the following details:

  • Job title
  • Company name
  • Proposed date and time of the interview
  • A short job description
  • A link or button to Accept or Decline the invitation

Step 3: The Job Seeker Receives the Invitation

When the job seeker logs in to their cpj.ai account, they can view the invitation message in their Notifications or Hiring Invitations section.
They can choose one of two options: Accept or Decline.

Step 4: Job Seeker Accepts the Invitation

If the job seeker clicks Accept, the invitation status changes to Accepted.
The system then automatically schedules the interview and sends a notification to both the employer and the job seeker.

The job seeker can view the interview details or access the meeting link (for example, Google Meet, Zoom, or the built-in CPJ interview tool) directly from their account.

Step 5: Conducting the Interview

At the scheduled time, the employer and job seeker attend the interview.
In some cases, CPJ provides an internal video meeting feature so that the interview can be held directly on the platform.

After the interview, the employer records the result in the system:

  • Hired
  • Not Selected
  • Pending Decision

Step 6: Final Decision and Completion

If the employer decides to hire the candidate, the job status automatically changes to Hired.
The job seeker receives a confirmation message, and both parties can proceed with the next steps such as contracts or onboarding through the CPJ system.

Important Note

Every stage of the process — from viewing profiles to sending invitations, accepting or declining, scheduling interviews, and final hiring — happens entirely within the cpj.ai platform.
This ensures that all hiring activities are organized, transparent, and secure, without the need to communicate outside the system.
